Sometimes I write my thoughts down.

Last night was an AIM DJ event at Lennons. I hadn't been to Lennons in faaaar too long, so I was looking forward to it all weekend. Unfortunately, tiredness, Monday-at-work-ness and, I suspect, ageing-ness, conspired to prevent me from really enjoying myself. I tried drinking lots (2 double G&Ts in the space of half-an-hour in the Union bar!) but that just made me tirederer, and the white rum in Lennons is really quite bad! Basically, I feel I must apologise to Bob et al, coz they were all great as usual and played some cracking tunes. In some way that I can't quite touch on, though, it just wasn't quite the same as it was a couple of years ago. Ah well. I think I'm feeling kinda like I'm in a bit of a rut at the moment. I'm sure it'll pass soon enough though.

In other news, this is quite possibly the best idea ever and should definitely be attempted over here! As Al said in response: "that should be a national service really... we can have people in Tesco pointing out to people picking up Pot Noodles that it isn't food, and someone standing by the "Welcome To Manchester" signs encouraging cars to turn around". (Why Manchester, I'm not quite sure ;-)
